How One School Put It Into Action
In this case study, learn how Centennial School District (PA) brought together educators, families, and school board members to select books for literacy take-home kits. A selection committee made up of teachers, students, parents, and community stakeholders reviewed and ranked a selection of books. With all the meaningful feedback, board members were excited to welcome the chosen titles. This strategy used ESSER dollars and provided students with take-home literacy kits over the summer and engaged families in literacy and learning.
